Louise Pollock, one of our team of dedicated business support coordinator in our head office at Romford, is running a marathon to raise money for Marymount University Hospice. She only started running ltwo years ago and has since completed four full marathons. She will be taking part in the East Cork Harbour marathon on 11th August, where the 17 mile marker is outside their family home.
She is running the 26.2 miles in memory of her uncle who sadly passed to raise money for the Hospice who offered so much help. She said “From zooming around in his XR2i when I was a little girl to giving me away at my wedding, he really was the most awesome Uncle and amazing role model”. “It is a small thing that I can do to help others who find themselves in the same situation”.
Louise is hoping to raise £1,000 and is looking for sponsors, “Anything you can give, no matter how small is all appreciated”, she said.
