We were approached by the consultant of the project and asked to design, install and commission a new fire alarm system to meet an L1 level of cover.
Fully qualified technical engineer/project engineer, fully qualified commissioning engineer, 2 fully qualified NICEIC registered electricians, fully qualified designer.
Following the initial request for the work to be completed, we were sent the architect’s drawings which our designer adapted to meet the required level of cover. Once finalised we worked together with other contractors on site to ensure the fire alarm system was installed and commissioned on time.
The system was designed, installed and commissioned on time. All the required certification was provided and the store passed the inspection by the local district surveyor which ensured it opened on time. This store has since been chosen for a BAFE SP203 internal audit. The audit was successful and all requirements were met.
